This is a busy weekend. There is Rugby on in Cardiff and if I didn’t have
other commitments I would go to it if I could have got a ticket. I have
always wanted to go to a Wales v New Zealand International so hope I get
there one day.

This evening I’ve got friends coming over for a meal and then tomorrow I am
meeting my cousin for lunch. He is a struggling student at the moment and
will need feeding up probably.

Last evening I went to the Supermarket. Decided to get all the shopping
done without battling with the crowds today. As I need assistance to get
around the store, they found someone quickly for me which was good but when
he arrived at the Customer Service desk he announced he didn’t know where
anything was. How is it that some people think that by some miracle, anyone
who is blind or partially sighted can just know where things are in a
supermarket? The supposed powers that people sometimes think we have amaze
me. Of course, 99% of the time people are as helpful as it’s possible to be
but there is just the odd occasion sometimes when these things happen.
Anyway they found someone else to assist me who knew the store well and I
got the shopping done and home without any problem.

Will write more when my social whirl is over.

Anne.
