Yes, by the time that probably registers on this blog, I should be in bed.
However, I’ve had a lovely meal with my friends, the Chicken Casserole was a
great success. Then I made a mistake of sitting at the computer and somehow
or other started to read other singers’ CV’s. I can’t think of a more
discouraging thing for me to do but who knows, someone somewhere might want
me to sing sometime after the first week in December? I sincerely hope so.
I really feel sad when I read of the concert and Oratorio performances which
some other singers have done and they still get asked to do them and I don’t
even though I have performed the same music as soloist. I think Music
societies/Choirs/organisations just don’t want blind musicians to perform
for them. I wonder if someone out there will prove me wrong? I sincerely
hope so.
